THE BOWYER'S BIBLE (DONE)
« on: September 02, 2011, 08:00:00 PM »
(IM NOT ASKING FOR A HANDOUT)

I'm new to bow making and i was thinking about getting the Bowyer's Bible 1-4. i was just wondering if there was anyone out there that was not needing them anymore, and would be willing to loan them to me. i will absolutley pay you for shippping, or even buy the books from you if you want. i dont need them all, i just need the first one, but to get the rest would be awesome.

thanks in advance,

John

p.s. i know i could get them from pretty much anywhere, i just figured i could check here first.

my local library had all four voulumes. I'd try there. They might have other books there too.

I thought they would, but to my surprise, they didn't.
But thank you.

Ask the library to purchase the books, or ask for an inner library loan (ILL). They should only charge postage from you to cover the cost of mailing the books. I work part-time at our county library and it's done all the time. A book can be found anywhere around the nation.

I suggest buying the set and keeping them around. I have read and re-read mine several times over and still reference one or the other often. Its a nice volume to keep at hand.
