Wax for selfbow

What type of wax do I use on my seniew back selfbow and how often do you use it . Its a Ed Scott bow and the instructions said use paste wax but I didnt really know what he was wanting me to use or where to buy it .

Johnson's paste wax, like you would use on a wood floor. At any hardware store for cheap.
