Zebra and Maple...mabye
« on: October 27, 2011, 10:30:00 PM »
Hey, I was thinking of making a zebra backed maple bow, but from what I've heard the other way around would probably turn out with better results. I'm not using glass just all wood laminate. I can get zebra for a decent enough price to give it a shot. just wondering which combo you guys think would turn out best. I would like to put the zebra on the back just cause of the way it looks but not sure if its going to just crack on me. what do you guys think?

I'm not sure either about the zebra backing......as i have no experience with it but a good maple is pretty quick! Whatcha gonna use for the riser.....black walnut wud be a great contrast.
Focus on the target!!
