Galen linked this post to the post I put on PowWow.
I want to publicly thank him here as well. I have oodles of emails with draw force curve pics in them that made my brain sweat! I bet he spent the better part of a year just noodling how to make it work better...and that was while he was feeling lousy prior to the diagnosis.
The "svelte" look is indeed accurate. I've been a recurve shooter most of my life...but find the quiet aspect of longbow limbs to draw me in.
When I put this slender filly together, I knew I had a very slim aristocratic young lass to take to the dance so I had to shave and shine up my shoes.
Galen trimmed/slimmed down the riser like he built it from scratch...
It came as I was dealing with sick truck issues and preping for a quick run outa town to end our PA season. I only got to shoot it a few shots... but it promises to be a sweet handler once I get it tuned up to my style of shooting!
Time...
And daylight! Not much of either right now when I'm home!
Galen, I'm glad you counted it as therapy cause I consider it a gift of love from a very dear person who's become a special friend!
