Kid Law...I'm 5 and this is my new bow
« on: February 21, 2008, 08:40:00 PM »
My name is Jacquelyn, I am 5 years old and just got my first "real" recurve bow.  No Wal-Mart specials here.
It is 54" long and is 15#@24".
It is a PSE Heritage Series Buckeye Jr. 3 Pc. takedown.

I shoot Carbon Force Desperado Arrows cut to 25 inches.

I shot it today on the computer simulator at my local archery shop and was nailing lions, giraffes, bison, monkeys, and zebras from about 6 yards.  Hopefully I will be hitting them from 10 yards when I am 6.    :bigsmyl:    :biglaugh:

Jacquelyn,

That bow is a beauty, and so are you!

Congratulations on your good shooting.  You must be VERY strong to pull such a powerful bow!  I bet you'll be hitting all those targets at 10 yards before you know it.  Keep after it!!
