Havent been around in a while trying to get flyrods...spinning rods and the such out the door.  Just got the garage cleaned back out and am ready to get after some osage that Chisler sent me last year after the swap.  I dig the pulley system Roy....looks like it would be real smoooooooth.

I was checking out KStrapper's hill style boo backed osage again. Got some area to work cleaned up in my garage and am getting ready to busy myself with some bowyery in addition to the spinning rods I am building a couple ladies.  Probably not gonna hunt deer this year but will probably go chase grouse and rabbits with my bow...that sure is fun.

Pretty plywood Roy.  It looks nice. I'm thinking plastic tips too, maybe??

Worked on a hackberry stave tonight.

Today the missus and I cleaned up the camp shack and rode around the lease on our 4-wheelers. Killed a few pesky stinging insects and just generally had a great afternoon.

When we got home I shot my Keenan-made sinew backed juniper bow after unloading the truck. Keenan, I'm gonna get a deer with that bow someday!

   :archer2:
As soon as I kill somethin' with Keenan's bow I plan to get somethin' else with the bow Jared made me!

Stan, Glad she is still feeling good in your hands. Warms my heart to know that. Good luck on your hunts my friend.

Woke up early with renewed fervor for my pitiful attempt at bowyering. Been playing carpenter so that my wife can open a daycare by the end of the month. If you guys ever get the chance to open a daycare...Jump off a friggin cliff. There are licensing inspections and health inspections and fire inspections and sanitation inspections and conditional use permits, which mean zoning meetings...but I digress.

Today all I've done so far is remember my Tradgang password, but now its time to clean up the workbench and get to work on a scavenger bow!

DV Hackberry    :)    giving the shoulders a break from the yellow stuff ???

Day late but took my co-workers daughter to the range to shoot her new bow....

It's different, maybe not status quo for a BBO though:) But it sure is purty. Going to be hard to cover it up with leather, I may not, depends on Pearly Boy, it's for him. Just gotta fugger out how to blend in the leather arrow rest.
