He has been attending cheer leader school, Kelly. They learnt him how to twirl a baton and toss pom poms into the air and then catch em:) LMAO

You better watch out, Roy! Have you ever really looked at the arms of those boy cheerleaders? They get pretty stout holdin' them lil'ol gals up in the air that a way!

I built a step stool for my daughters Pre-K classroom. Should earn her a few brownie points   :)

Hung my tree stand today. What I thought would be an hour turned into 3 hours. All bruised and bloody now. 64 years old doesn't help matters much, and the heart meds just make me bleed and bruise up like a boy from Missouri that just got thumped by an old man in PA:) I really like my setup though.

Then I re-did my tillering tree setup again. Made it even better.. Cold beer time now. Life is good..

Cheerleader school?  HA...I can tell a couple good cheerleader stories from back in high school, including the one that was also our quarterback and knocked me in the head with a rock 3o yards out.  I been busy with building fly rods and just yesterday I built a price list for various rod repair work I can do for folks.  Cleaned up the garage and pulled out those osage slats that Chisler sent me along with a bunch of bamboo I ordered a year ago and starting thinking what I want in the end...

Roy I am telling ya...greyish diamond back skins coupled with that riser and orange wood could be the cats meow...

Bow season opened but for some reason I havent bought a tag yet.  I am more interested on flinging arrows or lead at birds and bunnies this year. Maybe next year after my son takes bowhunter safety it will be a different story... LOVE what you guys have built in the swap this year.
I humbly follow in the learned footsteps of those who precede me.

I actually got to work on some bows today. Sinew wrapped the pin nocks on my Yew n Sinew North Western Indian type bow, slapped some skins on my old Hackberry stick (still my favorite shooter). Finished a Mulberry bow for a buddy and wrapped the belly split bow from that same Mulberry (I don't know why I did it???) and it actually shoots   :)

I found out I drew a managed hunt at a public spot that is real big and real close to the house. I'm excited about deer season opening in this weekend.  I spent the lighted hours tonight shooting my bow sharpening up the broadheads.  After dark I worked on an osage sapwood bow bow a bit. I'm shaping the handle and sanding right now.

Our season opens tomorrow too, but the first two weeks is doe only. So not wanting to educate the bucks, I will hold off for a while. Good luck, Red.
