Thanks psychmonky.  I bought the guts (reed, reed holder, o-ring's and tube) from Hut Products.  It's two pieces that are turned and then fit together.  Looking back it's pretty easy to make, if you've got the tools.  I'm no Buck Commander but I had a great time turning them.

Told her I thought about working another 1.5 years to get the max SS benefit. She said why would you want to do that, then she said with what you have in your 401 K and what SS is gonna give you, retire now:) Put ah big smile on my face. Bow Shop look out cause I'm moven in....

Congrats old man. Retirement must be nice with your health still in good shape. Shame about your looks though.   :goldtooth:    :deadhorse:

Nice deer Vanillabear, but your supposed to shoot them with a bow. You keep running into them and one will stick you with them pretty horns.
Great job!

Nice deer! That hooked g2 is really unique! What part of Missouri you from? Public land here can be really tough, but its rewarding if you can make it work.

I used my red oak shavings from two bows to start coals for the smoker and then threw some in with the hickory chipps. Smoked real well

Made a second attempt at a string jig & my second endless loop string. Went much easier with the second jig.  I even measured it right, screwed up the first string making it actual length instead of needed length.

Nice buck Scott. Public hunts, to me, just seem more rewarding.  Congratulations.
