Pulled the trail cam card this morning. Nice one still around. 300 yards below the house.

pau rosa!!!!  Wild!!!!!!

That buck will be a dandy next year Roy  :)

Wife and I spent a quiet Christmas. It was kind of nice....  she gave me a GoPro3 Black Video/Photo Camera for Christmas so maybe I can get some film while hunting next year, that is if I can find a ten year old to show me how it works

Yes he will be, Kip. My niece is 13 and is looking for her first deer, this is her second season of hunting. We are going to try and chase him past her in the late season. We know where he likes to hide, but he is no dummy and has put the slip on us twice this year already.

Took my newly adopted yellow lab for a cold walk around my place and cut a dozen dogwood shafts.

Cut a couple of post oak trees in my back yard. Still have a big'un that was lightning struck. But I'll hafta get help for that one, it's too close to my neighbors property.

Just finished signing up for the '13 bow swap.

Didn't do much today.........but went to visit my cousin and he loaded me up with about 12 dozen arrows. Now for the sad part, about the time I walked in the door back home got a call from my dad and my step mom passed away. She put up a 2 year fight with cancer....it's some nasty stuff, her last month was with lots of pain.

Got another one of my staves down to one ring. Not the final ring, but down to one and shellacked.

Sorry for your loss WestTexan, will be praying.

Looking good, Roy!

Had a preop today for a shoulder surgery, so no bowyering or shooting for a while.    :banghead:
