Nice haul. I chased some osage rings the other day and realised how much more I enjoy it than other woods.   :biglaugh:

I was lucky enough to work 3-11 today. Triple time $$$, but that's only nice on pay day. But it does pay for more bow making materials:)

Charlie ole boy, I guess they are OK:)

Got one of my staves chased to a final ring.  Moisture content was at 20 percent just at the sap wood, so it has some drying to do.  And I have to finish it up around the knots and pin knots that I left proud.  But a really good looking stave with great growth rings.

Got a HBI on the short string. One limb is a bit stiff without even having to draw it, so time to scrape a bit.

Finished my HBERC

Came in at #40 @ 28" 62" NtN 1 3/4" at the fades down to 1/2" tips. It took about 1 1/4" of set, but I was expecting that since I glued it up straight.

Split a little over a rick of firewood with a maul. Someday I'll buy a wood splitter and save my back.
