Pretty busy repainting and working on my house so I can list it for sale again. Hope to down size now there's only my wife and I at home. Long as the new place has a BIG shed with power.!!

I put a few coats of finish and some skins on a bow today. Then cut the last seven sets of turkey wings I had and processed three dozen right wing feathers. Then I've been looking for prices for some footed shafts for my moose hunt in 2014.

Today sucked big time! I had to hand the X wife a check for $10,000 per our divorce agreement.    :deadhorse:

But it could have been a lot worse, she could have gone for $50,000. Thank god she hain't all that bright:)

That's a small price to pay for happiness Roy. The trick is to find the right one first and save some money. Lol now the truth comes out about why you can't come out and play with me and Kenny.

Hmmmm... I just got done having a conversation with my wife in which I speculated that she spends more on beauty products ("chemicals" as I call them)in a year than I do on archery related stuff.  She didn't deny it.     :scared:
That would get me two nice pairs of laminations from Kenny and would last more than a couple weeks.

The nice thing about selfbows is they really don't cost me anything anymore so other than shop space I'm way better off than my wife in the sspending money department. Although four grand for a moose hunt is hard to justify, but that's what side jobs are for right? In my defense I always say " I sold this bow or that stave or those feathers or that skin for this much. What did you hair coloring sell for?" Those arguments don't last long and always end in my favor. Especially when I can tell her when I'm making bows I'm not spending money doing something else for fun. Even my tools were bought with Bowshop money from selling items I made or traded from thestuff I have on hand.  Right now her only complaint is how much room my shop takes from the garage wich is now only known as the bowshop.  Win win as I see it. Lol

That picture of Roy and his wife just proves one things.  Even a good looking woman, can not make some things standing beside her look good.

Went to see the Dr. Today to see what's going on with my right wrist and little finger.
Little finger is swollen and won't bend anymore. The wrist is sore enough that shooting is tough.

Doc says tendinitis , even more aleeve. Brace at night. Heat several times a day. Something about resting it.
He knows what I do in the shop, didn't tell me to stop shooting or making bows.

Yep, macbow, having some of the same issues. I'm afraid my body's going to quit before I'm done using it.

I kinda went the same route Roy. After the first mess I married was done I was fortunate to get a fine lady, 7 years younger than me, agree to marry me. That's been almost 19 years ago and I don't have a clue why she puts up with me. She even goes hog hunting with me!    :D

She took 2 this year. What a gal!
