About time you get that thing put in now I'll be there soon & were going to have to replace those broadheads with stone points. Sharp looking arrows.

Eric cool on the 500 canes. Nothing is prettier than a cane arrow and they fly great..

Monday is my day off and it was raining this morning so I stayed in and prepped 5 risers that I had glued up last week. The top three are a Hybrid R/D Bingham form and the bottom two are for Kenny M's 58" form.

Yep - i have a friend that wants three bows for his three boys for Christmas. I thought I would get ahead of the game and get risers ready  - glass is on the way and my core wood and veneers are ready to roll. I figured I would get a couple more ready while I was in the mood...

Today I started shaping my first actionwood riser- man that stuff is so awesome... usually I don`t pay too much attention on shaping the riser but with this stuff I can`t get enough grinding.
It`s a little like painting with sanders^^
Guess I`ll upload some pictures when finished!

Yup Robbie was here. Ya know them flint heads he was bringing? Well he didn't... LOL.. Then he calls me a couple hours after he left and says, did I leave my scraper there, I look and can't find it. I said check your back pocket.. He keeps talking and then what's ya know. He says I just found it in my back pocket.. LMAO

Got to my stand late this morning. Checked the sighting on  my gun, my son's gun and my wife's gun. Only the wife's gun had lost zero. ..bumpy atv rides to her stand.

Also cut almost a cord of firewood. Once we got home we burned couple of small brush piles behind the house.

I'm a tired puppy!   :campfire:

Installed another storm door. Just had the house sided with gray vinyl and Momma didn't like the black door that was on it. So ya all know how that goes:) I still need to trim it but she is gonna paint the trim white, not me:)

Today I cleaned out the portside cockpit locker on my floating home -- a 26 ft Columbia sailboat.

Then I went to my Lady Sally's house and got the bow I'm working on cleaned up from the jig.  I'll post build along pictures later, when it's more fully finished; but I'm building a wood-glass laminate in the profile of a 3000 year old Scythian bow from what is now Yanghai, China.  Extreme asymmetrical reflex/delex/recurve.  It's gonna end up 1" wide, and 44" in a straight line from tip-to-tip. Kennym (materials and lots of help) is guessing it'll come in around 45-50# as I designed it.  We shall see.
