Like Pat mentioned, this type material is very spine tolorant. If you're shooting around, say a 1" handle, just spine your arrows about the same weight as your bow for a 28-28 1/2" BOP finished arrow. If your bows are cut closer to center or you want a longer arrow you'll need to up spine for that.
Easiest way to orient these to your bow is to place the clear side of the boo/cane against the bow and the leaf stem area at 6 and 12 o'clock. And as Pat mentioned, shoot the arrow from both sides to determine it's index.
