Lulyn's gift from Pat B.
« on: December 28, 2011, 09:59:00 PM »
Last year Pat B. drew Lulyn's name for a Christmas gift exchange. He had worked hard on a bow for her but do to time crunches decided to send her an incredible basket quiver instead. Though she was overjoyed with the quiver, Pat had decided to send the bow as well. He had it fairly well done and just asked me to finsh the dress up.Though it took me till Christmas to get her all dolled up, I did manage to get it done in time to give it to her hor christmas.
So here She is. 60" NTN and right around 40 lbs at her 25" Osage with Chicken snake skins and horn tips as well as a small bird point accent.  I'll get the full draw shot from her when the rain quits :   :)

Pat, I like the way you feathered the tip overlays and tapered the snakeskin.  That is a great looking bow.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Guys, I can't take credit for this. All I did was give Keenan a half tillered bow and he added his magic. I picked this stave out specifically for Lulyn when I drew her name for the PA Christmas Exchange last year. Living with Keenan I knew Lulyn had to like bows with some character. I was really disappointed when I couldn't get it done in time  but I knew it was Lulyn's bow none the less. I brought it to Keenan at the Tenn Classic last year before Lulyn got there. You know now why I gave it to Keenan to finish her up. She's a real beauty, Keenan.

Don't let Pat fool you he did most of it I just added the skins and a little finish work on the tips but Pat pit them on and got her real close to being done.

Kris is right the quiver is a perfect match!

Very nice keenan. I like the tips and the chicken snake is different. Not the same old snakes you see everyday.

Thanks guys.

Dan, the snake came from my brother place in Texas.
Here is the bow and quiver together.
