I took a chance today I was feeling lucky.   I have to be a tightwad to keep my edge when I saw the  black and white ebony veneers.   Those jokers arent cheap ya know...

Kenny there a pic on previous page that shows the fence.  I don't have any close ups of the adjustments but the fence is a

Kreg precision band saw fence.

It came with the saw when I got it from Big Jim.  Very nicely set up.   Can probably peel off veneers @ .020".

Yep I've been busy.  Got to pay for my née tool upgrade

Kris you knocked that one out of the ball park Bro!  Very nice bow and you nailed that tiller. You are really kicking out some nice bows. Love the tips on that and the skins came out great.

Keenan after the rash of blow ups I went through last year I learned a ton buddy, mostly to finally slow down on every stick I work on LOL

Thanks for all the compliments. I need to learn how do take some better pics and get a better camera for sure.

Well, finished her up and getting ready to send it to her new owner!  It is a sinew backed osage, with slightly turned tips.  It draws 57# at 27".  Also, a set of prairie rattler skins to doll it up a bit and weatherproof the sinew.  It's a hard hitter, that's for sure.

Gonna get it in a PVC tube and send it out tomorrow.  With a little luck, the recipient will have her before the weekend!
