I am going slow on my tillering as soon as  I can get it on a shorter string I will snap some pics. With the re-curves I don't think that will be anytime soon.

Great work.

I had my wife snap some pics as I was tillering this afternoon. Hopefully I/she will be able to upload pics for ya'll to critique.

The bow is tillered to 26". The positive tiller is smoothing out better. There's 1/8" positive tiller now. I remeasured the fades with a thickness gauge and the lower fade was slightly thicker. After working it down the tiller looked better to me.

I pulled the bow to 27" on the tiller tree but decided to give it a rest until tomorrow.

It shoots very well and is quiet.

Keep your fingers crossed!  :D

DVS, hope the trouble at your farm wasn't too bad.

I've finished tillering my trade bow. It is pulling 57-58 lbs at 28".  After shooting a few dozen times, I think it's almost ready for finish sanding and tip overlays. Of course, I'll shoot it a lot more just to make sure it's gonna be ready to ship.

I'm still having fits with posting pics. We've had issues with the internet this weekend and my wife can't even get on line. So pics will hafta wait.

Sorry, ******

Finally got the handle wrap and rest worked out on my trade bow, need to take a little of the shine off the finish yet, then it's ready to ship. I'll get a few pics up later in the week.

Kelly, I'll PM you when it's ready to go.
