Got to the farm and the lowlifes took all my turkey hunting stuff, a few bigger items, and worst of all my kids bikes. My 6 year old was in tears. What kind of person would take a six year olds bike? Other my my boys feelings hurt, it wasn't too bad. I can recoup my stuff, but heaven help the man if I ever find him, and It's a small town and a very noticeable bike. Bowshop time tomorrow night.

The swap bow has been done for a while now and I am back working again, so it will be in the mail this week.  What a relief.

Nice tiller, vanillabear!!!!!  That's what reflex/deflex profile should resemble when drawn.  Now, what's it look like when drawn in the hand?   :)

I'm need a little input on my handle. All I have ever made are shoot off the knuckle bows. And I really don't like how wide this handle is. The handle is 2" wide now and I know decide if I should cut a rest into the handle or thin the handle out and add a floppy rest. Suggestions?

Here's the pics of my trade bow.  64" ttt, Hackberry, with osage belly lams, cherry bark backed, with rosewood tip overlays, and a beavertail grip.  Ended up with about 1-1/2" of set and a bit of shock, but overall it is one of the most accurate self bows I've ever shot.

WOW a lot love movement on bows know. I picked up a 4.5" long black snake on the road and skinned it out. Don't think I will put it on my trad bow.

But man yalls bows are looking really good.

Scott, Thanks for the compliments. The silencers are red fox.  Most of the reds in this area are colored like that, it's hard to find a good one anymore....Dan
