Rick, I like hop hornbeam too, don't have a lot of it here though. Most of what I get seems to have a lot of knots and pins, but if you can get a clean stave or two, it makes a good bow....Dan

Y'all are a buncha whiners. I mean come on, I have three kids and there has been maybe 2 days in the last 3 weeks where we have not had multiple events. One evening last week we had 5 events for 3 kids  Thank God school is out on Wednesday and Musical, Choir(s), band, soccer and track are also done.
Thanks John.
I was about to post and make a bunch of excuses about being busy and not being able to get my bow done yet etc etc. Then I read your post and realized I need to listen to my own advise. I always tell my kids that "excuses are like butts, everyone has one and they all stink" Tome to extract the proverbial digit from the stinky butt and get it done.

First weekend off in 6 or 7 weeks other than a funeral last month and sure wanted to get a bow about done this weekend. Got a real nice 6 foot roadkill Bull snake ready for some wood tho.

well I am tracking 4 bows in the mail. That give you a 6.5% chance of one of these being your bow. Please shot me a pm or post on here once the bow hits your door step.
