Well, I made the mistake of calling home from work today, where I found out that there was a long white tube waiting for me. So much for work! I wanted to get home! Of course, I was asked if I could stay a bit late today.
I managed to finish the overtime work in 15 minutes and I was off!
There on the dining room table was the tube and in it I found a beautiful, snakey osage bow made for me by David Flanrey. It has copperhead skins and zebra wood tips and a cane? rattan? wrapped grip. It's 64" tip to tip and draws 47# at 28".
David also included a nicely patterned bow sock and a great hand made arrow with a knapped Missouri burlington stone point, turkey fletching, copperhead cresting and deer sinew hafting.
I'll post a money shot as soon as I can get someone to take a picture for me.
Needless to say, I have been walking on a cloud all afternoon. As soon as I'm done here, I'm going to shoot a bunch of arrows.
Thank you again David.
Dave.
