Kelly, to my uneducated eye it looks like the upper limb is already bending more than the lower. I dont have the knowhow to superimpose lines from point to riser but used a straight edge on the screenhope I'm wrong.[ Often am anyhow]

Bob I think your right. Looks like the top is bending more in the inner third than the bottom. I would get the bottom bending the same as the top in the inner third then the middle a little more and call it good Kelly.

My trade bow is done and shipped.  The only issue is that in my excitement to have actually made a bow that works and get it shipped before the deadline, I completely forgot to write anything on it!  Sorry *********, but enjoy the bow.

Kelly, I sent you a PM with the tracking number.

My bow is waiting in line at the spray booth. It was a couple of pounds overweight when time ran out for making the last spraying: it is scheduled for this coming weekend. After sanding and what-not it is still 3/10 of a pound heavy at the stated draw length. Good enough for me. Now let's see if I can get the Thunderbird to spray as nicely as the last group of bows.  Any    sent on behalf of a high-quality finish for the trade bow is appreciated.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

I'm still a bit heavy but got it to 26 tonight and shot it 30 times and it has some zip...it's at about 55 at 26 and really needs to be that at 28. And I still need a camera man...500 dollar camera this time and it wont focus when you snap this pic.I had it at about 25 or 26 inches but couldn't get in sink with the camera. I can see I should paint that part behind the bow an off white. Had to go to my fish scales my other ones broke... anyway here is where I'm at now.

Just received my bow today! Turns out the post office had it ofr a couple days, but they managed not to harm it at all.

It's a very nice, very clean red oak board bow, with purpleheart riser and tip accents by William Kay aka Citycop!

68" I believe, 53# at 27", bout 50 at my (barely) 26" draw. Right on! Pyramid style flatbow with ambidextrous grip, shoot off the hand. 2.5" at the fades to about 1/2" i think. Follows the string by a bit more than an inch, I'm sure this will be a deadly accurate shooter.

I havent shot it yet but the tiller looks great and I'm proud to own it!

Thanks to Citycop for a great red oak flatbow! Keep up the great work!

Pics to come shortly!

Kelly bow looks good but keep away from those fades still. Better to have a bow thats slightly low on pounds than one thats slightly off on tiller. Great looking bow. I really love those eliptical tillered flat bows.

I'm glad you got it in one piece littleben. I was worried when they took it back to the post office. I hated to send you a board bow but the staves I tried didn't turn out. It's by far the best bow I have made to date and I enjoyed making it. I haven't tried cutting a shelf into one yet and didn't want to run the risk of having to start over and not getting it finished. I won't be offended if you want to cut a shelf in it. Hope you enjoy it.

On and I took off work a hour early to mail it out and realized I hadn't labeled it yet. So in the rush to labeled it at 27" instead of your 26"
