Hah! I have had to stop the tireless wait on the porch.  I was getting too tired so I have been working on my 73 VW Bus to keep me occupied.

I try not to look when the buzz of the mail truck exhaust rambles down the street. Waiting on bows is bad for concentration and ruins productivity...mailman should be here any minute..must not look..   :knothead:

Great job razorback!!! Love the bow!!!  Hopefully I'll make it home before dark so I can take care of the money shot.

Jerrod,
Glad you like the bow. I hope it shoots well for you. I kept flipping it end to end to try to find the best orientation, and didn't come up with a definite winner. It may take some time to settle in, even after a couple the hundred shots i put through it. I tried a few new things with this bow, i.e. my first laminated bow and reflex induced before tiller.
So enjoy shooting it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

hi all;

as you know there was some business and earthquake (still feel it in my bones.. uuu) consequences and could not able to finish my swap bow on time and kelly decided to give me some more time. after a 2 days work, i think this bow is ready to move out. just i will add leader handle and finish on wood.

i called this bow little tips (not tits) since she has tiny little tips (again not tits)(why the hell, i really do not know).

specs:
mulberry core wood,
beech + chestnut + beech combination backing,
164cm length,
40+ lbs.

i hope receiver will be pleased.

final touches:

phase 1: final rasping:

phase 2: final sanding:

phase 3: check for tiller:

phase 4: this how it is look like before finishing:

close shot:

side shot:

and command will be appriciated.
please keep in mind that i am not a wood-man but just a software engineer. my hands are used to touch on soft keyboard keys.

Very nice Ink!

I think I'm happy with my tiller.  Bow might be a pound or two heavy still, but we'll see where she settles in after a few hundred arrows this weekend before I bring her down any more.

I put a sealer coat on before shooting in so I don't stain the wood with sweaty hands, etc.  here's a teaser pic:

Still knocking on wood daily, but also still planning to ship on Monday.
