So Kelly, are we done yet and if not does that just mean they will be early for next year  :) .
This has been awsome and a whole lot of fun to participate in. A big thank you to Kelly and Chris for all they have done and to all the bowyers who participate and really make this great swap possible. If there is a better swap on the web good luck to them, but I doubt there is. I can't wait for the new year to get started on my next swap bow.

No it is not done yet. We have 2 bows out. One is no fault of the bowyer. The other was due to a drop out and the back up bowyer has been in contact with the recipient and they are tracking. As soon as I get the word on them I will post.

Wow, I've been away awhile.  Crazy fall, and not really because of hunting.  Just life.  Awesome to see those deer taken with swap bows.  Congrats to those bowyers who got to see all their hard work make meat.  (Ok, and to the fellers that shot 'em....)

I can't wait for the next one to start.  Seems like I never have enough free time to fit it all in, but the swap forces me to make the time and I enjoy ever minute of it.

Maybe after next year I'll feel ready to participate.  Still waiting on getting things together to make this easier (tools, etc.).  For now I am stuck with hatchets, hunting knives, sandpaper and 2x4s.  Going to be slow-going, but I'll be much more knowledgeable I think.

Wish the shipping wasn't such a killer or I'd be throwing my hat in the ring for next year.

Hey bigbob2, I'm from Switzerland and yes the shipping is quite a killer, but I can assure you it's worth every cent. There is way to much fun in this swap to not taking part and let all the other guys having it.

hi there,

since i am not experienced on bow making (i am just a software guy hehe  :)  ) i would like to have his opinion on bow and arrows that  i have done for my recipient. so that i can improve myself with my mistakes.

I'd go for it. You have plenty of time to stash away a little money to ship. I'm not sure how much it would be, but make a takedownand it will be feasible.

Dave I looked into shipping to down under. I am on ozbow.net (which is their traditional forum) and purposed a swap with them but after looking into shipping there is not easy and take downs would be  must.
