I have yet to see a bow that anyone wouldn't really like.  Some really nice work going on here guys.  Shawn that is some good looking wood.  The one lam looks like a pair of eyes looking at you.  My first thought was that it looks kind of like an owl.

On another note, I think I have the finish done on my trade bow. It looks OK, I guess....  :D
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Hey Roy, wouldn't you like to have someone shoot a big old North Western Ontario moose with that pretty bow?  :bigsmyl:
I strung my half finished swap bow and shot a bunch of arrows through her today. She puts them right where I'm looking and with no hand shock at all. Nice and quiet too. Too bad she's a few pounds underweight.  :banghead:    :banghead:    :banghead:
On to the backup or maybe another bow altogether.
Maybe I'll take her turkey hunting this April when I go to Ohio so it won't be a total loss.  :archer:

oh some really great bows being made. My hats off to all of yall so far.

Don't worry * I have my stave chased down to the ring I want to use. I just have to clean up a 1/2 a dozen of knots or so. Then I will flip it over and get really busy on getting it tillered. I just hope I can get out and get some gar skins for it next month.
Once I get to tillering it I will get some pics up of it.

Roy, it's a 22 hour drive from where I live and fruity beer is definitely not allowed. It's probably illegal here anyway. Only manly beer in Canada.  :wavey:

Well I am almost done. Took the Bow to the lanes yesterday for a good workout. It shot nice, no issues at all and best of all no handshock.
The lower limb was a bit to stiff at first, and needed a couple quick trips to the truck and a sharp knife to limber it up a bit. In all I shot it from 2pm till 8pm.I am happy with it now.
The girl at the lanes shot it too and she realy shot it well. These pictures were taken during the time I was fixing the tiller, so you can still see the lower limb stiff.

Well I took some time today and cut some limb parts out and worked on the riser a little. Here's my progress so far.

Just trying to keep up with the big dogs. Every bow I've seen so far has been a beauty.
