WOW, more great looking bows!
Roy, I didn't answer right away because I was looking for an emoticon that's holding it's nose. Molsons?! To be honest, half of our carry weight on the way up is Coors - it's manly enough for Canada.  :bigsmyl:
You'll need a helicopter to reach our camp if you fly. It's off a secluded bush road in north west Ontario, not too far from the Manitoba border. It's almost an hours' drive to re-supply with beer, or to replace a forgotten moose tag.  :banghead:    :banghead:    :banghead:    :banghead:  Not me, one of the other guys.
Dave.

Thanks guys, it is bending much nicer now that I scraped it in the parking lot and shot it more.
It is made from a stave of Hop Hornbeam I picked up in New Brunswick 2 years ago. This is the first bow from the 4 staves I got. The color is natural with tru Oil on it.
I am not a big fan of stains and like to see wood as it realy is.
I need to do some more finish sanding and oil coats on it now. I  hate to send it off.
 Pete

I got home from the hospital on Friday, still a little sore and lazy. I expect to get out to the shop today and do a little on 12345's bow. (saving him or her the trouble of counting asterisks). If things go well I hope to ship about the end of the month.   Rob
Don't know how I got here and don't know where i'm going, but life is grand.

Brushwolf, that riser looks awesome. Usually I don't like if if the riser/bow is to fancy, but this one is great.

Going down to the shop to work on my bow right now. Need to get the limbs evenly bending and then apply the hickory backing. Should get to tillering this week and if I'm lucky, shooting it by the end of next weekend.

kenny, did you leave the worm in it, can tae it fishin after huntin  :)

I started with a couple inches Reflex in the Hop Hornbeam  before shooting and final tiller adjustments. Friday it was strung and shot for about 6 hours, many many arrows went over it.
After resting unstrung for a day it has about 1/4" reflex left in it. I am happy.

Buck, that is an awesome trilam.

Brushwolf, that riser is phenominal.

I think I may wait awhile, so that mine doesn't get directly compared to the likes of what we've seen so far.  But I'm scared they'll just keep getting better and I'll be in more trouble...
