David, you are a lucky man! I was thinking about the best way to ship a one piece bow and I am thinking 4" PVC pipe with caps riveted on.... Hope **** has a working drill to remove rivets...

I use 3" thin walled PVC pipe(if the bow fits) with either a wood plug or the PVC caps taped on. Wrap the bow in bubble wrap, wadded news paper, wadded plastic grocery bags or something to keep it from rattleing around.
Also, send it USPS, Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. If it is a wood bow, don't bother to insure it...they won't cover the loss.
Priority mail will be there in 2 days with less handleing than any other method. Delivery Confirmation will allow you to track it if lost.
Make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes!

Got mine today, the mail lady just dropped off a long black tube, full of rivets.  After removing a few had to change the battery on the drill, what a surprise when I pulled a bow, 2 strings, and a turkey call out of the tube from R Morris.  The bow is stunning and shoots like a dream, Thank You! Ralph.  When my wife gets home from work, I'll post some pics.  This bow and call are truly works of art, I feel like I just hit the lottery.......Dan

WOW!I was heading out to work yesterday and stopped to check the mail. There was a slip in the mail box that said I had a package at the post office. It was a long crate.I thought man what could be in here.I never ordered anythig that would have come in such a long sturdy built crate.I had to swing by my Uncle's house and borrow some tools to open it.There was no way i could continue to work until I found out what was inside the crate.I never dreamed it would be a beautiful bow built by Larry Jorgenson AKA Jorgy!A stunning Lminated glass all cherry longbow!I shot it all morning I could not put it down.Ill get some pics this weekend.Cloudy dreary out today..If youve ben following this thread Im sure youve seen this bow.If you need to see some pics now, you can look back on page 51 to hold you over until i can get some pics posted. Thanks again Larry!Love the bow!Scott
