Dan I am just glad to be able to stop using *'s. I was also very happy to get your name. Hope you have as much fun shooting it as I had making it.

Also... Last year Page 63 of the Bow Swap came on April 12th. We are really cooking this year, Good Job everyone!

As promised, here are the pics of the bow I received from RMorris today.  I tried to get several close ups of the tips and the call as well as the writing on the bow, but for some reason my camera won't focus on close ups.

Thanks again Ralph for the whole package.....Dan

I went and shot My bow from KennyM today through the chrono and I have to say its awesome.  Its nice when an 11gr per lb arrow keeps that kind of speed. Again Kenny what a bow.

The down side of getting a bow this early is you dont have the excitement of wondering if a certain bow is your... but then I just go shoot MINE. lol!

I have started my trade bow, I will post some pics tonight.

Got a note in the mail today from the post office. Looks like I have a package waiting for me. I'm hoping it is something long and skinny. If it is what I think it is I'll post pics tomorrow night.   :archer:

Glad you like her Dave.

I ran her thru the chrono on the shootin machine too, I thought it was OK....  :D

All the bows are awesome, some real talent here.

I especially appreciate the self and other no-glass bowyers challenges and still getting a sweet stick from only wood and/or grass.

Thats bamboo, Roy!!

Just ribbin you Buddy!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Huge Congrates to the lucky lucky lucky few that have received their bows.  I just have to shake my head at how good they are.

Got mine in the form and cooking at the moment.  Everything looked good the last time I checked it. I'll see in a little bit when I check it again.

No biggie Coaster, Well I guess it was LOL seriously though no problem.

I hear your getting a stave master    :D  You'll really be crankin out the bows then.

If anyone that was asked to hold before shipping is ready to ship let me know so me or Kelly can give the OK. I had a message on one or two but they got deleted and I can't remember who they where. I know Goose was one and I ok'ed him to ship.

I just put the last coat of satin on mine tonight after getting her signed and all. ******** *** ****** is gonna love it I do believe. I got a couple stone head arrows to go with it and I'm waiting on a bow sock from Teresa Asbell to throw in the mix.

Now I gotta get a swap bow done for another swap    :D  and a few others done to send out that are long over due along with a few box calls.

The reason the writing looks good because I got the chance to do it literally 8 times! I could not get a good finish no matter what I tried and became very quick at stripping down and bow after a failed attempt. Well I wish everyone the best of luck on finishing their bows and look forward to seeing all the new bows.

Also, are we going to do the picture only forum like there was last year? If you need someone to head that up I would do it...

Brock, ya gotta send me a pic of that brand.

I started on my trade bow last night thanks to the jolt of inspiration I got so here are some pics and a few stats.

Osage selfbow. 62in. ntn, no shelf. I think that **** will like what I'm cooking up.

I have one ring to drop but that will be another night soon. Probably tomorrow. The stave was cut a few years ago and is damn  near what I would call tghe perfect stave, the only real issue would be an uneven profile. I will heat all that nonsense right out.

This is what I like to see for rings.

This is a look at em from the edge of the stave.

So far so good. Then again, they never seem to break at this point.
