I'll let the recipient share the real deal and yes that's a bit of snake off the handle  :D

Goose with the nice work you do I guess I could learn to shoot  a 92# bow , I think that is what it would be at  my draw. You are the man !

I really think that there is a k and a y peeking through on that bow Pat.  :)   Great bow goose.

And wow that is all the bows in the mail, I must admit I was not tracking one of them. That brings us to 8 bows delivered and 9.64% complete.

If you see your bowyer has delivered his or her bow and they ware on the don't mail to list just hit me up if I don't contact you to go ahead and ship their bow.

Well I'm almost positive my name doesn't have anything that would stick out below the little paper on Pats bow. lol  CRAP!!!  I"m changing my name to something that's got a bunch of ***'s and letters that stick down in it. lol

Mine came out of the form today and it came out nicely.  I guess third time really is the charm.  I'll get it cleaned up and try to get a pic or two of it up tomorrow.  Probably start tillering on it tomorrow  and see what happens.

Roy I've got to say thanks to you for posting a pic of your form.  I made one that style and it was so much simplier to get everything lined up.  I really like it.

My name has a "y" and a "p". Just give me a few weeks pat and I will finish my bow so you can send me that osage pole   :)

By first attempt (red oak board) didn't work out. I got one of my fades wrong causing the bow to twist when I put the string on. But I got a raw hide backed hickory stave in the mail today. It's 66" tip to tip and floor tillered. This will be my first stave so hopefully I can make a nice bow out of it.

Nope, no hanging letters in my handle in the right places....guess I'll have to build my own pole bow     :banghead:

Goose, unless that last glass of beverage is messing with me, you spelled out canopyboy but got the weight all wrong.  You're at 3.5 lbs too heavy still.

Well, here she is! I put another 50+ arrows through her today. She still shoots right where I'm looking but does still have a little thump when shot. Not as much as before I narrowed the tips and not too much to be uncomfortable but noticeable. The handle wrap is hemp cord from Walmart saturated in Massey finish with a floppy rest. The handle riser and tip overlays are heavy shoe leather saturated in super glue. I have 6 coats of Tru-Oil and a final spray of satin poly to cut the shine. I'll get a full draw pic later this afternoon.
She will be going out early next week to her new home in.........d;^)

this unbraced pic was taken right after shooting...

...and the pictographs on the rawhide back...
