Exotic wood in limbs?

For the most part I use bamboo or maple for the core wood in my limbs and if I use clear glass I use veneers that are about .024" thick. Is it worth the cost to make the limbs (tapers and parallels) out of solid exotic wood such as bocote or cocobolo? How much extra physical weight does this add and how do bows like this shoot?

The first three bows I built ,before I knew any better, I used exotics through the whole limb.All three were slow and sluggish shooters.
You should use lighter woods in the core to keep mass weight down in your limbs.
Besides you can save a few bucks using maple bamboo or cherry in your cores instead of more expensive exotics.

I agree with furtaker.  I use bamboo flooring for the core and veneers about .035" thk
