Longbow makeover
« on: January 20, 2012, 08:41:00 PM »
I just finished a makeover on a longbow I first made in 1999.  I changed the shape of the handle a little, making is smaller and more comfortable to my liking now.  It next got a new finish and a leather wrap.  I really haven't given this bow very much attention in the last few years.  I'm looking forward to putting a bunch of arrows through it now.  It's 64" 57#-28" with a zebrawood riser, red elm and zebrawood limbs.  Thanks for looking.

Nice!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
