bow build
« on: February 08, 2012, 08:06:00 PM »
It has been a few years since I have built any bows due to a career change and time constraints blah blah blah. So lets see if I can still do this. This one will be grey action wood limbs with grey action wood and bubinga riser and shooting for 52 - 56# it will be 62" hybrid longbow. I got started on the riser today

well here it is out of the oven. I thought all went well but actually had belly glass slide to one end so bow will be a little shorter than intended. I expected something like this to happen since it has been a while since made any. but it will still be a nice bow just happy its not scrap yet. will have more pics tomorrow.

Nice riser. Do you have any shots of your bandsaw swing jig setup?
