hi i have a hoyt dorado that is 50# and to much for me. so i called my hoyt man and new limbs are about 300 dollars shipped to me. way more than i want to put in this thing. what i want to know is if the limbs can be sanded to drop the weight? any help anyone can give me i would be thankful for. by the way this thing was a xmas gift from my wife so as we all know lol. i will have to hang on to it lol. thanks.

You could always put just the limbs up for trade. Also you may want to check the weight, Hoyt limbs have a rep of running up to 5# heavy.

hey i have tried to buy limbs on every site you can think of. but no one has any in the 35 to 40# range. and i can buy a new bow for the price of hoyt limbs. so thought i would try to get the weight reduced.
