Found a nice Bluewood tree while mule deer hunting back in December....never even heard of the tree. Looks like Hackberry at a glance until you look at the bark..it looks more like Cedar bark. Anyone ever build a bow out of it? It's gonna hit the ground before long..guess we'll see.

If it is that rare don't you think you should find out more about its bow qualities before you cut it down?
