Static tip limb ????

So, I've been working on a new form for a static tip limb. I'm getting ready to grind my lams. I want to use a power lam & a tip wedge. My limbs are 1 5/8" at the fades. Here's my question... How much (+/-) will this add to my draw weight? Just a guess, something in the ballpark... I'm thinking of using my current ratio for a 45# bow. Any thoughts would be welcome. Thanks in advance!

Heres another ? Would it be better to put an overlay on the belly side or the wedge in the limb. I have put a fairly tight hook to the limb.

My PL and TW add about 3#  +/- to the bow on a 64" d/r longbow.

As for the overlay (or underlay) , I like them inside the glass, but if they kept the tip too stiff, external would be great as you could tweak easier.

Wouldn't the tighter hook also stiffen the tip? I have used some p lams out  to 3 1/2  inches past fades and have found them to add arround 3 or  4 lbs to draw weight.. Still experimenting and learning.. I have not used a tip wedge since my hooks are tighter than the original Binghams  one piece design.

Maybe will just make the limb without a wedge and see how it works.

I'm building 58" bows and my draw is 26 1/2, if your draw is longer or shorter I guess you would have different results with the way the tip acts.

This is going to be a 62" bow. I am hoping to keep it 50- 60# at 29". I've put alot more curve in the this form. Not sure how much to allow for that.My current form will make a 45# bow with .247 number 62"@ 28".
