de a glass backed 'boo cored longbow and the limbs are identical length. Now, the question is, as I made the tips a different length, only about a 1/4'' difference. The nock to nock measurement is evenly spaced but one tip ie past the string groove is longer than the other to facilitate using a string keeper and the other shorter to allow easier slipping over of the string. Now if I have timed the tips to be a mirror image at full draw, will the slightly higher mass on the longer tip make an appreciable difference to over all tiller and smoothness?
