Bow 11 complete
« on: June 22, 2012, 09:41:00 PM »
This is bow 11.  It was built for a gentleman that owns the local hardware store. It's 68 NTN.  1 1/2 wide at its widest.  Tips are 1/2.  47 lb at 29 inches.  Pignut Hickory. Finish is Tru-oil.  Handle wrap of buckskin.  Still got to build his arrows and he'll set.

Around 1/2 inch just out from the fades.  Don't know what it tapers down to...I would have to measure.  Tips are 1/2 wide and 1/2 thick for last 6 inches.

He's getting me a Dewalt DW735X 13" thickness planer for my shop.

Thanks again for the kind words folks. I worked hard on making this one look good.  I am going to put a nocking point on it today and make sure it's shooting good.  Then I got to do up his arrows.
