Bow #2, Tillering advice....

Hello!

Well, I am making another bow. This will be number 2. A red oak board bow. I am tillering right now and am at 45lbs. @ 23". I am shooting for 45lbs. @ 28". Any Advice would be welcomed!

looks like it is bending pretty nice to me - the keen eyed experts might have some better advice.

Photos can be deceptive . second shot looks to me like its bending a little early near fades.third shot looks fine. Don't attach too much credibility to my judgement though, cause I've had little to do with board bows.

Tiller looking really good to me, bending in a nice even arc. It might be bending a little too much by the fades though, hopefully the handle doesn't want to pop off.

Take your pencil and make a mark two or so inches from the end of your fades,and continue tillering and dont scrape past those lines....otherwise looking good to me

How long is it? Tiller looks great but it looks like it has no more room to bend. You may have an inch or 2 in there if you remove some wood a few inches on either side of mid limb but it seems to be bending at max. Jawge

70 inches long. You are correct. It is drawn to 28.
