Hole in one
« on: July 06, 2012, 05:23:00 PM »
Hole in one limb that is.  Chased a ring in 105 degree heat because my wife said I was getting a bit soft in my young age.  Drew up the dimensions and cut it out.  I learned from my recent attempt making a camo back with stickers and I'm using something the sun can't go through.  I also included a picture of where I put bows to get some sun.

Goose, I've been kicking the same camo idea around for a gnarly osage bow I'm working on.  Keep us posted on how it turns out....Dan

Dan: Just don't use painters tape with letters and numbers to make the design.  I have a second try going right now and I'll post pictures here in a couple of weeks after it gets a bit of sun.

Stiks: It's good to have friends who have ugly staves.  That and if I ever go somewhere that has them that's all I look for.  I think I have an affliction.   :knothead:

Goose I just split a log today that might have a knot like that one in it. The bark is still on so I don't really know just yet.
