I need advice on how to strip old finish and what would be best product to refinish with.

I've had good luck sanding with 220 grit and using tru oil or a polyurethane as a finish. Both work well. Some finishes aren't compatable so you may want to consider sanding the whole bow.

If sanding is what i have to do I will. Just hoping I could use some sort of stripper .
