Frank or Shell would never blow anyone off..... the workmanship of all of their products are top notch and you wont find two more generous people out there..they have donated to many fund raisers and are always willing to help out... If Frank or Shell havent responded to a pm it would surely be due to a technical error....

I can testify to their commitment to sticking to it until you have what you need! Whatever it takes, within reason, they will do. Thanks again Shell and Frank! Top notch bolts! They are the best!

I think that pretty much sums it up right there!!!  I've been PM'ing Frank and Shell for the last few days about making a set for me, and they have both been very responsive.  Even took the time to answer some (probably) silly questions I posed, all with a friendly attitude.

If you'd like to see some very nice examples of their work, here's a quick link to some pictures:

Very impressive work, IMHO... And that's just the limb bolts!!!     :clapper:      :clapper:      :clapper:

Thanks everyone, May have found out what has been up with the emails since I use yahoo, not too sure but here is what Rob had posted and maybe why we had not received emails from folks. Just wanted to clear this up.<><

Again if you would like to email about limb bolts, my wife's is located in my post on page 1 until I can get something else figured out to make sure I am doing all I can for folks.<><

Frank,
Schafer Limb bolts are probably easier than the standard...just need to center drill the antler, tap (not necessary but probably the most secure), and glue in a brass insert (available from Binghams). Old one's used a 3/8" diameter insert and new ones take a 1/4". As with all Schafer's, a nylon washer is a must between the knob and the limb. If you decide to make some, let me know...I'd love to have a set with your artistry!!

Frank, I pm'd you and emailed Shell. I'm interested in a set. Thought I'd post here just in case you didn't get the others.

Thanks,
Allen
