Awesome elk! and bow, must be an awesome feeling to take an elk with a bow you made. Congrats. If you don't mind, did you get that bull in an otc unit?
My dad's friend drew unit 76 and we saw some great bulls and had fun,but couldn't connect. I am impressed when guys get bulls like that on public OTC units.

Not OTC.  This was in 61.  Very cool unit and some nicer bulls around but no way was I passing this guy.  Now its back to OTC units and looking to take any elk, and rarely will they be 150 yards from the truck like this guy was!

Awesome! Unit 61 is a great unit with some neat terrain. That is a very nice bull for anywhere! Looking forward to reading more on the Powwow about the hunt. REally cool and thanks for sharing. Nice bow too.
