What have you found to be the best distance between the upper and lower part of your bow form when using the air hose method? Building my first bow form and looking for advice.

Ive only built one so far but i set mine at 1.25".Seemed to work well.

Obviously depends on hose diameter of course but with 1 1/2'' hose then as scottm says 1 1/4'' works for me.
