Bingham kit help
« on: August 24, 2012, 03:09:00 PM »
I found what looks like a Bingham one piece recuve that someone had started at a garage sale for a dollar. It looks fairly old and has green glass.
The tiller looks good and the limbs are profiled plus the riser had some work done like the sight window was cut. I've done some work on the riser, file in the the nocks and worked on the limb tips some and can see where he had made some mistakes but I think for the most part can be corrected.
What I need help with is the string groves on the belly and keeping the limb tips tracking. I put a string on it and put a few arrows through it at 3/4 draw and my walnut arrows seem to go to the same place so I think the bow is worth the effort which is great as I don't shoot recurves as well other bow types. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

My advice to u is to put a few pictures on here for the veteran bow builders to see.
