Thunderstick Mag owners?
« on: February 25, 2008, 09:17:00 PM »
I will be ordering one very soon and I have a question. What length did  some of you get  and what is your draw length? I have a 26" draw and Jim told me either 56" or 58".I shot a 56" and it was smooth.

Sold one that was 58". I have a 28" draw and there was no stack at all, very smooth bow.  The only advantage that I could see with the 58" is if you actually preferred a little longer bow for stability. JMHO.

As far as a review goes:  I personally thought the Mag was one of the smoothest drawing bows I've had.  It had plenty of speed and was much more bow than it's diminutive size would seem to indicate.  The grip was very comfortable and repeatable.  Nice balance and pointability.  Forgiving of my "bad" releases.  I only sold mine because I'm more consistent with more riser mass and a true medium-high grip.  Shooting three piece bows now.
Do or do not ... there is no "try"

They don't stack at all.  Don't know how Jim does it.
