Nice looking bow. You could thin those static tips down quite a bit I'd think and still have them stiff ... you'd gain some speed I think.

Nice lookign bow though.

The static tips are about where they need to be due to the knot and the increased poundage of the reflex. I have brought the tips down on other sinew / juniper bows and have had problems with twist. Juniper being such a low mass wood will not show much, if any, improvement from reducing the tips too far.
