Arrow Clacking Sight Window

I know that too low a brace height will do this. What about over-spined arrows? Other causes?

Overspined does it for me. I know right off that arrow wont cut it!

I just tuned the wife's carbon arrows for her recurve bow. They were too stiff but adding a 2" aluminum footing with a heavy insert got them flying good. These shafts were already cut for another bow

Nocking point being way high or low will do some of that.

too deep a hook on the drawing hand may also cause some of that.......torqueing the string...

Thanks all.

I've been working though each point trying to isolate the cause. I'll get there. Brace height and release have helped. I'm hoping nock point will further help. Just hoping I don't need another set of arrows.

You can reduce the spine (or increase archers perodox) on your arrow by adding tip weight i.e. if your shooting 125's move up to a 145 tip.

Try that too, it's cheaper than getting new arrows...

Are your arrow nocks too tight on your string? That can cause some arrows to react wildly!
