Name this wood???
« on: November 05, 2012, 12:48:00 PM »
Anyone know what this dark wood might be?? I picked it up this spring- it was in a pile of Macacauba but didn’t look like any of the other pieces in the stack. The guy at the store didn’t know what it was either and sold it as macacauba.

I will say Zircote also.  It will be heavier than just about any other wood you have.
