work bench i made to help me work

just a little bench I made to help when building bows. figured I'd share it

Thank you. made it from scrap lumber my brother had layin around. I'm hoping my first WORKING bow comes off of it.

My best advice....anchor it solid. You will be yanking that thing all over the shop! I made mine with 4 x 8 3/4 MDF with 4 x 4 legs and it still skids when I rip bark and sapwood off.

Yeah its pretty solid now I'm probably gonna screw another 2x4 on the legs so it'll act as a 4x4. thanks

Take ol Pearls advice and anchor it if your gonna be doing much draw knife and scraping work on it.  You'll be suprised how much pulling force you create when the knife hangs and your jerk your whole table across your shop. lol Good looking bench ya got there.

Not to belabor the point of sturdiess but my vice is mounted on a 3" steel pole that is concreted 2 ft. into the ground and the pole is full of concrete and it still moves around too much for me sometimes.
