Not too sure on the bent part.
Wouldn't want to imply your bows bent arrows.

Names are hard to,come up with sometimes. Talking to a inner group of friends can yield results.

Example:  a friend was sitting at a camp fire with several good friends.
His initials are JPB after several, suggestions for his company name someone suggested, Just Plain Bows to match his initials. It stuck.

A good friend had a Sky Eagle he had set up again his truck and drove off running over the bow. Messed it up good. Took it back to Earl and had it cleaned up. Earl Hoyt fix the bow and you could not see any scars or dings and named the bow as Road Kill.

Good stuff right there lol. I wont be selling any of this bows just as gifts and maybe to trade for something. But if someone likes it I want them to know I made.

I like Black River Bows more than Bent Arrow Bows. Brings to mind wild places and hunting.
If you ever decide to sell bows, it pays to think carefully about your name.
Just my 2 cents.

I make a self bows for myself so I usually pick a characteristic of the bow. A bow with 2 knots becomes "Two Knots". Jawge

I like Black River Bows, I think that is a good match.
Bring a compass because it's awkward when you have to eat your friends.

Black River Bows sounds great.  I like to see a company give a shout out the area it is from.  I don't make bows, but I do make knives.  Don't sell them yet, but plan to start in the next year or two.  I'm from a small town in north La called Saline.  There is a small area just outside of town where I actually live known locally as Pistol Hill.  I plan to sell my knives under the name Pistol Hill Cutlery.

Black River Bows is a good name.  That's how I came up with my namefrom my local hunting spot.  The creek I hunt on always seems to be dry (it is in Texas) so that's how I came up with Dry Creek Bow Company.
