Traditional archery therapy!
« on: February 07, 2007, 10:40:00 AM »
I came out here to Tulsa in May to do a 5-6 month job and it is still gong on! It is an extremely stressful job and if it wasn't for the great folks that I have met here, I probably wouldn't have made it this long away from home. Some of the guys I've met here in Tulsa are members here on the tradgang site....Doug Rutter and Todd Welden visit here and some of the others may too! Big Mike, Jeff and Ron have really made an effort to make sure that I have someone to shoot with and something to do on my days off and I am truly grateful! Ken and Leslie, Vickie, Cathleen, Merle, Greg, Mark, Lisa, Don, Cam, Bob....really too many to list and I'd probably leave someone out....just plain ole great folks! These folks have taken me to outdoor shoots, included me in their indoor shoots and have invited me into their homes to share meals with their families! Seriously, if it wasn't for the bow shooting and the weekly fellowship with like-minded folks, I would have went crazy by now. I have turned in my resignation and I will be heading home sometime in the next 4-6 weeks, but I will be forever thankful for the friends I have met here and I truly cherish the time spent with them and look forward to future vists/hunting trips with as many of them as possible and as often as we can! Just had a few minutes to share and I wanted to share with the 'gang about the Tulsa gang! God Bless, Mike

Mike...Friends are what makes the sport so much fun.  Sounds like you did well.  If you ever want to shoot some arrows in Pennsylvania, give me a shout.   George

Keep at it mate.
