Just ordered all of my leather supplies to start putting real handles on and not ones that look like a first grader did it in art class!

What did ya order, Justin? I have found that tanned/dyed deer hide is the best. It really stretches out sweet and is so soft and pliable and the dye they used just soaks right through the hide.

So I hear there is a package awaiting me when I get home on Thursday from a work trip. I'm tempted to drive back now but ill have to wait a few more days. This might be worse knowing there is a package waiting for you than waiting to see if one sent might be yours.

Today I was able to thin two bamboo slats and get them ready for glue up. One is going to be 64 inches long and the other 66. Going to make two and send out my best one. Keeping one simple and continuing to make them the way I know how to and the other I am going to try something new. Will post pictures of my progress after glue up.
